2009 - PR Week’s “PR Education Program of the Year” award finalist. Read more.

2009 - Host school for creation and production of FORUM, PRSSA’s national student newspaper, for second consecutive year

2008 - Dr. F. H. Teahan award-winner for best PRSSA chapter newsletter for quality of writing, creativity, design and content

2007 - Council members for the Certification in Education in Public Relations (CEPR) named BYU as one of the top 10 schools in the nation for undergraduate public relations education

2006 - BYU was selected as the host school for the annual international convention of the Public Relations Student Society of America, the largest PR organization in the world

2006 - Presented the Army Reserve Public Relations campaign to the Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Army and the Commanding General of the 96th Army Reserve Command. Retention is a “top priority” for the military in the Iraq War era

2005 - Placed second in the nation in the prestigious Arthur Page Society Case Studies Competition, one of the highest awards in public relations
